IA lesson

Here is the link for my lesson

I included four different accountability components in my lesson. I included two worksheets as accountability that my students will print off from a website. They will then fill out the worksheets (as best as they can) and turn them into the homework basket. The other two accountability components I included was a certificate from one of my links and the other one was a bell ringer that the students will write down the level they got to on one of the games.

My implementation strategies is to use my lesson more for a review after I have discussed/ introduced my class to the five oceans, seven continents, and the four directions. I think it would be confusing and time consuming to use my lesson as an introduction lesson. I have also though about breaking it up into three different chunks (oceans, continents, directions) and having the students complete each chunk after introducing the topic to the class. I also think that IA lesson could be a great way to have students that miss school days do catchup work to understand the information that they missed.

I like how you realized that this would be better not to use as an introduction lesson. That definitely shows that you understand the content and the abilities of the students. I liked your implementation strategy.

Thanks for leaving a comment on mine before I even wrote my paragraphs! You are so clever and funny...anyways, I did read yours and I really like the way that you implemented your lesson into the curriculum. It would be cool to break it down into smaller parts, too. Hope you have a fantastic day!
